Three years ago, Amanda and Tom met through work. Tom was instantly attracted to Amanda but he had no idea that she felt the same for him. They continued to interact professionally and soon discovered that this relationship is something bigger than they both would have ever imagined.
Amanda lived in the Bay Area while Tom lived in Placerville. Soon after their relationship grew in romance, they decided to live under one roof. Little did Amanda know, that was only the start of their life together. During a Turkey Trot race in Montana during Thanksgiving of 2017, Tom got down on one knee with the help of Amanda's family. Her brother Steven, mother Kris, and her best friend and sister Whitney were each wearing a shirt that said "Will" "You" "Marry" and when Amanda turned around she saw Tom down on one knee with a shirt that said "Me."
Their whirlwind of a romance has slowly brought their closest friends and family to this very special day: June 7th, 2019.
Amanda made an elegant bride in her intricate bare back lacy dress. At one point, I told Tom after their first touch that he would just be thrilled seeing his beautiful bride... and he was!
Their officiant Reverend Jeri Murphy performed a wine ceremony where Amanda and Tom shared a glass of wine. First, a glass of sweet white wine and soon after a glass of red to symbolize their experiences together as husband and wife.
"This glass of wine symbolizes the sum of your life experiences.
It contains within it the sweet flavors of love, joy, wonder and contentment.
This same cup, at times, holds the bitter taste of sadness, pain, and despair."
Atop a hill overlooking the gorgeous mountainous forest at the Forest House Lodge wedding site, they have vowed to love each other through sickness and in health. Their friends and family couldn't have been more supportive and happy for them. The energy at their ceremony was wild and it only intensified at the reception. Celebrating Amanda and Tom was on everyone's agenda and they truly were surrounded by people who were rooting for their marriage to succeed.
Amanda and Tom, thank you so much for trusting me to capture the biggest and most memorable day in your lives! I enjoyed every minute with you. I can't wait for you to see your wedding gallery but for now here are some of my many favorites!
