Elopement at Sierra Water Gardens in Reno, NV

The sun almost peeked out but it didn't. Thankfully, the wind was at bay and even though it was a little gloomy the energy in the garden was quite the opposite of that. Raphael arrived with his family looking sharp in a blue suit and red bow tie, he anxiously awaits his bride. A few minutes later here she comes, brightening up the crowd in her gorgeous mermaid silhouette. She taps him on the shoulder and he turns around to admire his future wife both as happy as can be.

They couldn't have picked a more beautiful scenic location for their wedding day. Sierra Water Gardens is tucked in the heart of Reno. As the season changes, so does the garden. In the Fall the pond is quiet and the trees are dressed in warm colors of orange and red. But when you catch it in the Spring, the whole place boasts an active pond visited by a family of ducks and the garden comes alive with its tall mature trees and beautiful greenery. Either way, the garden makes for a gorgeous romantic backdrop. It is the perfect place for an intimate event like today's.

The ongoing theme for today is intimate, romantic, and joyous. And today's setting is far from their first date at the movies to watch Ted. Because today, we celebrate Crystal and Raphael in their matrimony as husband and wife. High school sweethearts. Lovers. Best friends. These two have been together for seven long years and today they become Mr. & Mrs Rayford.

Surrounded by their family and friends, they stand together under a gorgeous arch accented with red roses and delicate pampas. Hand in hand, they say their vows to one another and later exchange wedding rings to signify their lifelong commitment for better or for worse. Next comes their first kiss signifying their first moments as husband and wife. At last, they are now Mr. & Mrs. Rayford!

Crystal and Raphael, what an honor it was to be in the same crowd as your friends and family. Thank you for trusting me to capture such a huge milestone in your journey, I am truly thankful to have met you both and witness your love firsthand. I wish you two the best as you start a new chapter in your lives. Here's a recap of your beautiful wedding day!
