Kathene & David | Intimate Elopement by The Hytch at Sierra Water Gardens | Reno, NV
When love comes knocking at your door, will you open it?
Falling in love can be frightening. It leaves us vulnerable. Unguarded. Your heart is at the mercy of someone else and you're hoping they will value it. Take care of it. You're afraid to get hurt but yet you're hoping for the best.
When you know what you want, nay, what you NEED then it becomes easy. In life, you don't know who you'll end up loving and who you'll love back but whoever that person might be they are already speaking the same love language and also on the same page in life as yourself.
When love comes knocking at your door, always open it because you never know who will be on the other side. Accept what is, let go of what was, and have faith with what will be...
This is the story of Kathene and David. They graduated high school together in 1974. Thirty-eight years later, they reunited through the world of social media. Life has taken them on different roads but here they are hand-in-hand taking life by the horns 45 years later.
Kathene and David, your love story is inspiring. There is so much hope in the love that you share together. I have so much respect for the journey you both have taken to get you where you are today. Thank you for sharing your story with me and for allowing me to be a small part of your life together. Congratulations on this new and exciting chapter in your lives as husband and wife! I hope you enjoy some of my favorites of you two when you both finally said "I do."
