Tahoe Blue Estate Wedding at Stateline Nevada | Jenn & Forrest

It isn't a surprise that the pandemic threw a curveball on all of us. But imagine having major plans in 2020 that required so many moving parts to make it happen. Say, like your dream wedding?

A few of my couples who were set to get married in 2020 had to navigate through the unknowns while holding out hope that they would eventually have their dream wedding. It isn't the venue, or the flowers, or the dress that was devastating though. The most devastating part of it all was being unable to celebrate with their loved ones on their special day.

Jenn and Forrest originally planned their wedding for November 6, 2020 in Winters, California which they had to scrap for obvious reasons. With the help of Jenn's sister Ashley and their mom Vicki, they buckled down to make secondary plans for their now Tahoe wedding that included 40 of their closest friends and family.

This secondary plan included a lot of moving parts including securing their wedding date with a new photographer. They came up to Tahoe to meet with me for their Engagement Session and just like our initial meeting it was easy and fun. Jenn and Forrest are very down-to-earth so I really enjoyed every minute of their session.

Finally, the countdown is over. It's now May 21, 2021 and it's Jenn and Forrest's wedding day!

I start heading up towards Tahoe Blue Estate and noticed snow flurries coming down. Although Spring has sprung, this kind of unpredictable weather is something that is unsurprising to me being that I live in the area. Luckily, Heather Reagan (wedding coordinator) looped me in the day prior for Plan B which was to have the ceremony indoors.

One might think or say, "how unlucky" it must've been for Jenn and Forrest for a snow storm to come in the day of their wedding day. Being the gracious couple that they are, the snow was something unexpected but they absolutely embraced it. From the moment I walked into Tahoe Blue Estate, Jenn greeted me with a smile and never wavered from her excitement knowing that regardless of the snow that today is the day she is marrying the love of her life.

Their wedding day was so full of love and laughter. The best part about serving amazing couples like Jenn and Forrest is having the opportunity to hear more about how great they really are through the words of the people that love them and they love most. When Jenn's dad George came up for his toast to the newlyweds, the room was filled with tears of joy and laughter. As dads would throw shade, he shared that they didn't think Jenn knew why she was going to college in the first place. BUT he also shared how amazing his daughter truly is.

Their wedding day was nothing short of perfect in so many ways.

Jenn and Forr, I've said it once and I'll say it again: "You're great as individuals but in the short time I've gotten to know you I can confidently say that together you are a force to be reckoned with."

Congratulations! Wishing you both the best in the future!
